Wayne “Pappy” Copeland, 53, of Olive Branch, passed away September 8, 2013, in Hot Springs, AR, from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident. An avid motorcycle enthusiast, Pappy was the Director of Maintenance at the Glenmary at Evergreen. He is survived by his wife of 29 years, Jane Copeland; 2 sons, Chad Copeland of Hattiesburg, MS and Casey Copeland of Olive Branch; his granddaughter, Ava Copeland; his parents, Betty and Ross Copeland of Moselle, MS; his brother, Randy Copeland of Houston, TX; 2 sisters, Bonnie Lopez of Sugarland, TX and Annette Morgan of Houston; 3 nephews; 2 nieces; and a host of dear friends. The family will receive friends at 5 p.m. on Wednesday, September 11, and a Celebration of Life Service will begin at 6 p.m., at Brantley Funeral Home in Olive Branch. Following the service, there will be a memorial ride to Gunny’s Bar in Arkabutla, MS. All colors are welcome.
