

Ed Robbins age 74 of Olive Branch passed away Saturday, October 18, 2025, in Jackson, Tennessee. He was known as “Eddie” to his friends and family. He was known as “Grumpy” to his 5 grandchildren. Ed retired from FedEx after 31 years of service as a ground equipment mechanic. He was an AMSOIL dealer, was a General Motors representative, and owned The Street and Strip Speed Shop in Memphis. Ed was also a licensed pilot, an avid drag car racer, and loved to fish and hunt.
Ed was a member of Racers for Christ and a strong believer who shared his Faith with his family and everyone he met. Ed met his wife, Patty at Central Church where they were married seven months after their first date and in his most recent years attended Mission Church with his family.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Bill and Jimmye Robbins Oliver; brother, Kenneth Robbins; stepfather, Lee Oliver.
Ed is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Patty Robbins; children, Jessica (Kyle) Levatino, Heather (Andrew) Gay, Katie Robbins, Olivia Robbins, and Matthew Robbins. Grandchildren, Ava, Ezra, Jacob, J.T. and Henry.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at 12:00 p.m., Friday, October 24, 2025, at Mission Church, 6000 Briarcrest Avenue, Memphis, TN 38120. The family will receive friends beginning at 10:00 a.m.
