

EDWARD L. DRYSDALE, SR., 75, of Olive Branch, MS, retired truck driver, died April 13, 2012. Visitation 5-8 p.m. Tuesday, April 17, and Service at 10 a.m. Wednesday, April 18, both at Brantley Funeral Home, Olive Branch. Burial will follow at 1 p.m. Thursday, April 19, in Greenlawn Cemetery, Walnut Grove, MO. Mr. Drysdale was a loving husband, father, and brother who gave back to his community by singing gospel music at area nursing homes. He was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church. He liked to travel, hunt, fish, and work crossword puzzels, and spend time with family. He had lots of loving friends. Mr. Drysdale was preceded in death by one daughter, Margret Diane, and is survived by his wife of seven years, Guilda; one son, Edward L. Drysdale, Jr; two stepdaughters, Diana Starnes (Bill) and Sharnnon Johnston (Steve); one stepson, Kenny Grisham (Yvonne); three sister, Pat Hudson, Barbara Creed, and Phyllis Vacero; seven step-grandchildren; five step-great-grandchildren.
