Edwin A Clark

Edwin Alonzo “Buddy” Clark, 83, of Lewisburg, MS passed away on January 22, 2023. Buddy was born on October 29, 1939 in Memphis, TN to the late Edwin McNeil Clark and Emma Pearl Logsdon. Buddy was also preceded in death by his sisters: June Clark, Anita Clark, Patricia Abbott, and Norma Jean Armstrong; a great-granddaughter, Alayna Joyce Avery; and daughter-in-law, Sheila R. Clark. He is survived by his two sons, Joey Clark and Kenneth Clark; three grandchildren: Katrina Avery (Nathan), Eric Clark (Karla), and Kristin Clark; six great-grandchildren: Carson Clark, Abby Thompson, Daniel Thompson, Olivia Thompson, Alyssa Avery, and Tessa Avery; siblings: Shirley Lindsay (Joe), Linda Davis, Emily Shackelford (Harold), Janet Russell, Mike Clark (Cathy), and Tim Clark; many nieces and nephews; and two bonus sons, Jamie and Sid Brantley. The family will receive friends for a time of visitation at Brantley Funeral Home on Friday, January 27, 2023 from 12-2 pm with a remembrance service beginning at 2:00 pm.
