Erna Sharon Davis

ERNA SHARON DAVIS, 62, passed away peacefully in the early morning hours of Saturday, April 30, 2011. Born March 9, 1949 to Buren Ray and Erna Wheeley. She is survived by her husband of 41 years, James Richard Davis; daughters, Ashley Berryhill (Jamie) and Molly Davis; two grandsons, Aiden and Brooks Berryhill; her mother, Erna Wheeley and her brothers, Dan, Pat, Tim and Chris Wheeley. She was retired from Olive Branch Intermediate Schools, where she was able to fulfill her passion to teach children the love of reading. She was a loving wife, mother, sister, daughter and “Nunu” to her family in addition to being a friend to everyone she met. Services will be held Friday, May 6 at New Prospect Baptist Church, 31- Hwy 305 North, Olive Branch, MS. Visitation will be from 3-6 p.m., with a Memorial service at 6 p.m. Memorial contributions can be sent to Olive Branch Intermediate Schools, 8631 E.
