Ernest Ellis Broadway, 83, of Hernando, MS passed away on August 1, 2023. Mr. Broadway was born on October 6, 1939 in Olive Branch, MS to the late Ernest Earl and Alma Jane Broadway. He is a 1956 graduate of Olive Branch High School. He served our country in the United States Air Force. After his military service, his passion for flying continued. He loved to fly and even had his own crop dusting business. He also enjoyed riding Harley Davidsons in his free time. Mr. Broadway was a member of the Masonic Lodge and a Shriner. One of his greatest joys in life was being “GP” to his grandchildren. He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Jeanne Boland Broadway; daughter, Gina Marie Adams (Dana); son, Cayce Broadway (Emily); and grandchildren: Jesse Paul Adams, Tyler Blake Adams, Trace Ellis Broadway, and River Owen Broadway. The family will receive friends for a time of visitation on Saturday, August 12, 2023 at Brantley Funeral Home from 9-10 am with a memorial service to begin at 10:00 am.
