Byhalia - EVELYN ELIZABETH BARNETT BENEFIELD, 83, died Monday, October 21, 2013. She was preceded in death by her husband, James W. Benefield, her parents, William Clinton and Linda Coy Barnett, and siblings, Calvin Paul Barnett, William Lewis Barnett and Fannie Rebecca Gibson. She is survived by four daughters, Paula Sweatt, Margaret Hoover, Susan Muirhead, Sherry Proctor; one son, Glen Benefield; nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. There will be a gathering of friends on Saturday, October 26 from 1-2 p.m., with service following at 2 p.m., all at Brantley Funeral Home Olive Branch, (662)895-2310
