We will always have fond memories of Everett.  When Dave and I moved to The Woodlands with our 2 young boys, Eulene and Everett made it feel like home as we got settled in.  Everett was a great sport - playing catch and helping entertain 2 toddlers when we visited or listening to their stories during Easter brunches.  At the time, Kayleigh and Ryan lived in Baltimore, so we appreciated Cynthia letting us "adopt-her-parents" for that short sweet time.  DJ and Andrew still remember riding in the electric jeep in your backyard.  When Dave started his new job in Seattle, Everett and Eulene took the time to drive out to The Woodlands several times over the few months until we moved, to check on the boys and I and take us to lunch. It made such a difference  knowing they were nearby.  We're thankful for Everett - both of you were guardian angels and we're just glad we had that time to get to know Everett.  Eulene,  we're thinking of you.

We didn’t get to see my Uncle Everett and his family very often when we were little. But when they would visit from Houston we’d all gather at Grandad and Granny’s and have such fun! All the kids would run wild outside in the pasture, down the dirt roads, down to the duck pond, and even venture over to the cemetery.  These times were the very best times. Uncle Everett ALWAYS had a smile to share and loved to tease us kids. He could convince you the sky was green and the grass was blue. Of the three brothers (Everett, my dad Clyde, and Lee) he reminded me the most of Grandad. I always looked forward to their family coming to visit us “down in the valley”. Rest easy Uncle Everett. I will always remember you with love.
