Mrs. Fannie Mae Nichols was born in Byhalia, MS on May 25, 1925. She passed from this life on October 15, 2018. She is survived by her loving and faithful husband of 72 years, Mr. William A. Nichols; her son, Jerry Nichols, and his wife, Betsy; her daughter, Nell Nichols Ginn, and her husband, Jeff; grandchildren: Jonathan Nichols, and his wife, Megan; Anna Ginn Castellano, and her husband, Andrew; Jordan Ginn; and Zachary Ginn, and his wife, Jordyn; and three great-grandchildren: Lily, Forest, and Mary Rose Castellano. She is also survived by her sister, Margaret Nichols and her nephews, Danny and Tim Nichols and their families. She was preceded in death by her father and mother, Moody and Nell Henley; and her grandson, Jeffrey Nichols.
Mrs. Nichols was a life-long resident of the Olive Branch/Byhalia area. She was a faithful member of First Baptist Church in Byhalia and served in numerous roles including organist and teacher. She enjoyed meeting people in the community on routes as she worked alongside her husband for North Central Power Association.
Visitation and the funeral will be conducted at First Baptist Byhalia at 10 am and 11 am respectively on Thursday, October 18. Officiants will be the Rev. Leland Johnson and Dr. Jeff Ginn.
