Franklin Lavon Gross

Franklin Lavon Gross, 93, of Olive Branch, MS went to be with the Lord on October 19, 2025. Mr. Gross was born on January 22, 1932, in Ashland, MS to the late Millard Dolphus Gross and Thelma Lowry Gross. He served our country in the United States Navy. He later worked for International Harvester as a warehouse manager until his retirement. Mr. Gross was a believer in Jesus Christ and a faithful member of LaBelle Haven Baptist Church where he served as a deacon. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Paul Gross; and his brothers: Milton Gross, Steve Gross, Joe Gross, and Millard Dolphus Gross, Jr. He is survived by his wife of 69 years, Jo Gross; son, David A. Gross (Elizabeth); son, Mark Gross; daughter-in-law, Teresa Gross; grandchildren: D. Keith Gross (Kim), Joseph A. Gross (Jennifer Ward), Brandon L. Gross (Ashley), and Shannon Hamilton (Keith); great-grandchildren: D. Tyler Gross, Cathryn M. Gross, Carly E. Gross, Chloe Gross, Joseph A. Gross, Jr., Natalle M. Gross, Reagan Fausto (David), Chance R. Gross, Jaxson L. Gross, and Rosalle J. Gross; and great-great-grandchild, Elias Fausto. The family will receive friends for a time of visitation at Brantley Funeral Home on Wednesday, October 22, 2025, from 12-1 pm with a funeral service to begin at 1:00 pm. Burial will follow at Byhalia Cemetery.
