Gabrielle W. Yates

Gabrielle Waggoner Yates, 55, of Olive Branch, MS passed away March 3, 2016. She was born December 22, 1960 in Temple, Texas. Gaby was an active member of Christ Presbyterian Church in Olive Branch. Loving her family brought her the greatest joy. She also loved arts and crafts which she used to provide encouragement to others. Gaby was a graduate of Ole Miss and served as President of her Pi Beta Phi Sorority. Gaby spent many years in banking and finance before becoming a full time Mom. She was a beloved daughter, sister, wife, mother, sister-in-law and friend. Most importantly, she was devoted to Christ and is now with him forever. She is survived by her husband of 32 years, Jim Yates, her son, James Yates, her mother and father, Duke and Nancy Waggoner, and her brother, Scuddy Waggoner. Visitation will be held from 5-8 p.m. on March 8, 2016 at Christ Presbyterian Church in Olive Branch, MS. Funeral services will be held on March 9, 2016 at 9:30 a.m. also at Christ Presbyterian Church with burial services to follow at West TN State Veterans cemetery.
