We just heard. George was a great neighbor and friend. We talked a lot on the phone in the past several months about his dog BRUT and our dog. They played together everyday.He always made us laugh--such a great sence of humor. He will be missed !! So sorry for the family.

You were a good freind and we had a good time. You will be greatly missed and not just by a few but by many. Sorry I wasn't there but I just found out. Now you will be with Cathy again and I know you are in good hands. May God Bless the rest of the Family and keep them in his hand at this time.

So sorry to hear about Mr. George. I did not get the word until this morning and I'm sorry to have missed the funeral. Mr. George was a very dedicated member of the Mississippi Partnership Workforce Investment Board for several years and he will be dearly missed. Our deepest sympathy to the family.

George was a very special person to me. He was a mentor to me for many years. He was a unionist at heart. Always quick with a joke that could always make your day. He will be missed by many. The memories, I will always cherish.

It was a joy to have had George as our MS State Director.  I will always remember his union knowledge; jokes that would brighten one's day and his willingness to lean a helping hand whenever needed.  He often spoke about his lovely family and worshipped the grounds Kathy walked on.  He is gone but will never be forgotten.

To his whole family, particulaly Donna Ruth and Patricia, whom I have known many years, my thoughts and prayers continue for you and George Edward's family. Many memories are awakened and cherished.  God Bless you all.
