George Thomas "Tom" Stewart, Byhalia, MS, 94, passed away on July 12, 2016. There will be a gathering of family and friends beginning at 12 p.m. until service at 1 p.m. at the Emory Methodist Church in Watson, MS. Interment will follow at Byhalia Cemetery in Byhalia, MS. He enjoyed working at the Byhalia Post office where he was a rural mail carrier for many years but he will always be remember for "How His Grass Looked." Tom is survived by his 3 daughters, Dorothy Murray, Della Grant and Linda Wilburn; 6 grandchildren, Tara Stephenson, Scott Grant, Doug Grant Stephen Murray, Shannon Murray and Shawn Leonard, 6 great-grandchildren, Addison Stephenson, Isabelle Stephenson, Alyssa Grant, Chelsey Grant, Dallas Grant and Tannor Hendrix; great-great-grandchildren Skylar Murray, Savanah Murray, Kelsye Leonard, Karlye Leonard, Kyle Leonard and Julia Stonebrook. He also leaves a host of friends who will all miss him very much.
