

Glen McClure, 54, passed away on February 13, 2016. Life Celebration services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, February 17, at Brantley Funeral Home in Olive Branch. Interment will follow in Blocker Cemetery. Born in Memphis, TN, on November 30, 1961, Glen was raised in DeSoto County, and he attended Horn Lake High School. Following high school, Mr. McClure worked as an iron worker, then a deckhand on a river boat for many years, until he began his career as a truck driver. Glen traveled the “Lower 48” in his 15 plus years driving. He was an avid Mississippi State Bulldog fan, motorcycle enthusiast, coin collector, wood worker, history buff, and he enjoyed the Winston Cup Series. Mr. McClure was preceded in death by his parents, Bobby and Jean McClure. Glen is survived by his daughter, Paige Lane (Matt) of Olive Branch; two step-sons, Jason Williams and Justin Williams, and their mother, Linda McClure, all of Olive Branch; his fiancé, Johanna Roberson of Horn Lake; his sister, Karen Agner of Hernando; his brother, Tommy McClure (Melissa) of Fairhope, AL; and two grandsons he adored, Noah “Knucklehead” Lane and Ryder “Monkey” Williams.
