Gleniva P. "Polly" Owens, 83, of Memphis, passed away December 1, 2013. Born on April 27, 1930 in Memphis, Polly was a member of the Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by two brothers, James M. Woods and Arthur C. Woods, Jr. Polly is survived by her daughter, Carmen Marlin; two sisters, Avis Marie White and Virginia Lee Jones; and her brother, Clyde Morris Woods. The family will gather to receive friends at Brantley Funeral Home in Olive Branch on Tuesday, December 3, beginning at 9:00 a.m., and funeral services will follow at 10:00 a.m. The family will continue to receive friends with a reception following the service.
