Gussie Linda Gaskin

Gussie Linda Gaskin, 84, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, January 22, 2022 surrounded by her family. She was born on October 23, 1937 to the Late Nolan Odis and Lula Mae Windham in Heidelberg, MS. Linda was a strong Christian woman and attended Longview Heights Baptist Church for many years. She was a doting mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Linda treasured spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 56 years, Bill Gaskin; her parents, Nolan Odis and Lula Mae Windham, and her son, Terry Gaskin. Linda leaves behind two children, Wendell Gaskin (Shari), and Gayla Miller (Kevin); three sisters, Janelle Bethany, Lucille Robinson, Joyce Tune, and a brother, Odis Windham. She also leaves behind five grandchildren: Stephanie Harrison (Bobby), Shannon Vinson (Craig), Savannah Gaskin, Laurel Gaskin, Shaun Gaskin, and six great grandchildren: Grant Harrison, Avery Harrison, Oakleigh Vinson, Blair Vinson, Hayes Vinson, and Colton Harrison. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, January 26, 2022 at 11:00 am with visitation beginning at 10:00 am at Brantley Funeral Home, 6875 Cockrum St. Olive Branch, MS 38654.
