Gwen Nichols

Gwen Nichols passed away peacefully after a short illness during the night of April 19, 2018 in Olive Branch, MS surrounded by family. She was born December 29, 1941 in Memphis, TN. She was the oldest daughter to the late Marion and Madeline Hunt. She was preceded in death by her sister, Donna Beth Hunt Weaver, her first husband, Jimmy Wheeler, and her step-son, Harold Stephen Nichols. Mrs. Nichols is survived by her husband, Louie Harold Nichols, her brother, Marion Hunt, Jr. (Betty), her children, Robin Wheeler Lambert-Cox (Matt) and Amy Wheeler Denison (Keith), her step-children, Louie Samuel Nichols (Diana) and Phelan Dunn Nichols (Traci), a daughter-in-law, Cindy Nichols, seven grandchildren, and one great-granddaughter. She was a lifetime member of First Baptist Church of Olive Branch and the Olive Twigs. The family will receive friends Tuesday, April 24, 2018 from 10am until the funeral service begins at 11am, all at Brantley Funeral Home, 6875 Cockrum St. Olive Branch. Interment will follow in Blocker Cemetery.
