Harold Gene Queen, 78, of Nesbit, MS, after many years of injury and illness, was called home by the Lord in the early morning hours of Palm Sunday and passed peacefully at home in his own bed, as was his wishes. He was born August 20, 1944 to the Late Hubert and Alma Lee Queen in Severville, TN. Harold was a proud Navy veteran, and supported his family as a truck driver for more than 50 years. He will be greatly missed. Harold is survived by his wife of 44 years, Martha H. Queen; a daughter, Kathy Holder (Scott) of Woodstock Ga; a son Charles Queen of Nesbit; a step son, William Welborn of Jonesboro GA, and a brother, Hubert A. Queen of TN. Harold also leaves behind four granddaughters: Kailey, Brayden, Taylor, Morgan; three great grandchildren, Madison, Julieann and Wylder, and numerous nieces and nephews that were close to his heart.
