He was preceded in death by his son Derek O’Niel. He is survived by his children Justin (Ashley) Ellis, Collette Ellis, Christy (Brett) Starks and Adam Ellis. He also leaves behind four grandchildren; Gabrielle Ellis-Brewer, Landon Ellis, Caleb Ellis and Brody Starks.
