Harry Raymond Sanders, Jr., 76, passed away Tuesday, January 21, 2020 at Methodist Olive Branch Hospital. He is the son of Harry Raymond Sanders, Sr. and Eleanor Sanders, and was born in Memphis, TN . Harry was in the United States Army and a retired fireman for the city of Memphis. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. Harry also enjoyed using his hands and was great with building and carpentry work.
He leaves behind a wife, Nelda Sanders of Olive Branch, MS; two sons, Troy (Joy) Sanders, and Les (Kim) Sanders; five grandchildren, that meant the world to him and that he loved dearly, Katie, Dalton, Bailey, Caden, and Cole. Harry was preceded in death by his sister, Clarisse Sanders. He was also a long time member of Cedarview Baptist Church.
Visitation will be held Friday, January 24, 2020 from 1pm to 2pm with a funeral service at 2pm, at Brantley Funeral Home, 6875 Cockrum St., Olive Branch, MS 38654. Internment will be Friday, January 24, 2020 at Memorial Park Southwoods, 5485 Hacks Cross Rd., Memphis, TN 38125.
