Olive Branch - Herbert Anthony, 85, of Olive Branch, MS, passed away at his home on December, 21, 2013. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Marie G. Anthony; three children, Ronnie (Pat), Sandra (Tracy) Layne, David (Fran). He is also survived by two brothers, John Elgin of Collierville and Paul of Arlington and one sister Ruth Tennyson of Akerman, MS. He was preceded in death by his parents George and Eva Anthony, brothers Charles and Robert and sister Mary Frances Dennie. He also leaves his grandchildren and great- grandchildren. He retired from J.M. Smucker Company and was a school crossing guard at Olive Branch Intermediate School. Funeral services will be held at Brantley Funeral Home in Olive Branch on Monday, December 30th at 1 p.m., visitation begins at 12 noon, followed by burial in West TN Veterans Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials in his honor can be made to Memphis Veterans Hospital Association.
