Homer Douglas, 78, of Senatobia, passed away April 5, 2011. The family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. Thursday, April 7, and funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, April 8, all at Brantley Funeral Home in Olive Branch. Interment will follow in the Mt. Zion Cemetery in Independence. Homer retired from Baptist Hospital in Downtown Memphis after 35 years of service. He was an avid racing fan and loved going to the Riverside Speedway in West Memphis, AR. His true passion in life was “the Ladies”, always flirtatious with a wink and a smile. Mr. Douglas is survived by his daughters, Annie Baldwin of Senatobia, Sarah Busby of Independence, and Rita Cobb of Harmontown; 12 grandchildren; and 15 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his son, Tommy Anthony Douglas.
