Irma Marie Baldwin, 65, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, August 25, 2025, surrounded by her family. She was born on March 14, 1960, to Billy Wayne and Vicky Jo Baldwin. Marie courageously battled cancer for over a year. Though she fought with strength and determination, God chose to bring her fight to a peaceful end. Marie dedicated more than 30 years to her career as a dispatcher, with 28 of those years proudly spent serving the Olive Branch Police Department. She deeply loved her work and the team she stood beside. Marie took great pride in serving behind the scenes, supporting Olive Branch’s finest. Her devotion to her hometown was unwavering, and she played a meaningful role in making Olive Branch a place its residents were proud to call home. As proud as Marie was of her career, her greatest joy in life was her son, Justin, and his wife, Olivia. Her heart was fullest on the day she watched them marry, knowing how happy they were and still are. It’s often said that it takes a village to raise kind, respectful, and loving children, but Marie managed it with pure love, steady guidance, and the unwavering support of her Momma and Daddy. Marie was deeply loved by her family and friends. If you were lucky enough to call her a friend, you had a truly special one. Cherish the memories you shared and take comfort in knowing she is now where she belongs, safe in the arms of Jesus. Marie was welcomed into heaven by her mother, Vicky Jo Baldwin; her grandparents, Joe and Reva McCall, and Ray and Nacy Baldwin. She was also greeted by beloved aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Marie leaves behind her son, Justin Early and his wife, Olivia; her daddy, Billy Wayne Baldwin, and her brother, Bill Baldwin. A funeral service will take place on Saturday, August 30, 2025, at 2:00 PM with visitation beginning at 12:00 PM at Brantley Funeral Home, 6875 Cockrum St. Olive Branch, MS 38654. Burial will follow at Blocker Cemetery in Olive Branch, MS.
