J. Dale Ware

82, of Olive Branch, MS, passed away at his home on October 27, 2015. Mr. Ware was born in Walnut Grove, MS on September 24, 1933. He was preceded in death by his parents, Roy and Ruby Ware, and his only son, Kevin Dale Ware.

Mr. Ware served two years in the U.S. Army, then spent the remainder of his work life in the transportation industry. He will be remembered as a beloved father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle, friend, teacher, mentor, but most of all, a follower of Christ.

He leaves behind his wife of 62 years, Barbara Ware, daughter, Debra Ware Goode, son-in-law, John W. Goode, all of Olive Branch, MS., daughter, Linda Grammer Kilgo of Ft. Lauderdale, FL. and daughter-in-law, Tammi Meier Ware of Arlington, TN. "PAMPS" also leaves his grandchildren, Kristen Goode Rushing (Braxton), of Slidell, LA, Jay Dale Ware (Angie) and Paige Ware Holmes (Chase), both of Arlington, TN and John Bennett Goode (Hannah) of Memphis, TN, as well as six great-grandchildren.

Dale also leaves his brothers, Jack Ware (Mary Lou) of Tupelo, MS, Marcus Ware (Pat) of Petal, MS, Carl Ware (Glenda) of Walnut Grove, MS and his sister, Jayne Ware Britt (Ray) of Walnut Grove, MS.

Visitation will be held at Meadowbrook Baptist Church, Byhalia, MS from 9:00 until 11:00, Saturday, October 31, 2015 with the service to follow at at 11:00. Brantley Funeral Home is in charge. Any memorials can be made to St. Jude, Memphis, Tn.
