James “Bobby” Hall, 88, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, May 27, 2022 at Mississippi State Veteran’s Home in Oxford, MS. He was born on September 13, 1933 to the Late Homer and Audrey Nadine Hall in New Albany, MS. Bobby served in the United States Navy during the Korean War. He was an avid fisherman. Bobby enjoyed watching either Ole miss Football or St. Louis Cardinals. He loved the Lord and was a faithful member and Deacon of Fairhaven Baptist Church for 55 years. Bobby was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Avis Hall; two children, Tammy Farrow, Tony Hall (Michelle), and a sister, Linda Miller (Johnny). Bobby also leaves behind six grandchildren: Stormi Fausto (Issac), Amie McCane (John), Daniel Miller, Charles Terry (CJ), Brittany Terry, Brooke Terry, and nine great grandchildren. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 1, 2022 at 1:00 pm with visitation beginning at 12:00 pm at Fairhaven Baptist Church, 5050 Katherine Dr. Olive Brach, MS 38654.
