James “Jimmy” Edward Hardy, 52, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, November 1, 2025, at Methodist Germantown. He was born September 29, 1973, to Wilton and Jean Hardy in Maryland. James, known to many as Jimmy, dedicated 22 years of service as a TSA agent at Memphis International Airport before retiring. He loved spending time tinkering around the house, taking on home projects, and especially working on trucks with his son, teaching him the skills and patience. Jimmy also enjoyed grilling out for his family. Jimmy was preceded in death by his parents, Wilton and Jean Hardy, and four siblings. He leaves behind his son, Brandon Hardy (Hannah) and his brother, Jon Hardy. A memorial gathering will be held on Sunday, November 23, 2025, from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Brantley Funeral Home, 6875 Cockrum St. Olive Branch, MS 38654.
