Janice Kay Vaughn, 76, of Olive Branch, MS, passed away Sunday, January 7, 2018. Born in Meridian, MS, Mrs. Vaughn was raised in Helena, AR. She retired as a Teacher with Memphis City Schools after 30 years of service and was a member of Maples Memorial United Methodist Church in Olive Branch. Mrs. Vaughn is survived by her husband, David H. Vaughn, Sr.; three children, David H. Vaughn, Jr., Kimberly K. Sellers (A.J.), and Lisa G. Jamison (Chris); two sisters, Jackie Early and Sherry Kumbera, and three grandchildren, Bailey, Abby, and Aaron. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, January 10, from 12 p.m. until the funeral service begins at 2 p.m., all at Maples Memorial United Methodist Church, 8745 Goodman Rd. Olive Branch. Interment will follow in Blocker Cemetery.
