On Wednesday, April 23, 2025, Jeffery D. Hood, 65, of Potts Camp, went home to be with the Lord. Jeff was a lover of golf, music, and his beloved “fur babies,” Puggie and Leo. Jeff is preceded in death by his father, Floyd Ellis Hood, his mother, Iva Sue Gurley Hood, and his brother, Eddie Hood. He leaves behind the love of his life for 37 years, Norma Elaine Hood, also of Potts Camp, as well as two stepsons, Jeff Sisk of Oxford and Tim Sisk of Sherwood, AR, and his brother Larry Hood (Bertha) of Texas. A visitation will be held on Monday, April 28, 2025, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Brantley Funeral Home, 6875 Cockrum St. Olive Branch, MS 38654. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, April 29, 2025, at 10:00 AM at Brantley Funeral Home. Following the funeral, Jeff will be laid to rest in Lebanon Cemetery, Olive Branch.
