Jimmy Anthony Dunn

Jimmy Anthony Dunn, 78, of Horn Lake, MS went to be with the Lord on October 19, 2025. Jimmy was born on November 16, 1946, in Center Hill, TN to the late William Henry Dunn and Katie Lou Cinda Neisler Dunn. He served our country in the United States Army. He was stationed in Germany during the Vietnam War. After his military service he earned an accounting degree from Union University. He worked as a CPA for Overton Electric and later for Ekmark Electric. Jimmy was also involved in his community be volunteering for the Walls Volunteer Fire Department and being on the “chain gang” for the Horn Lake High School football games. Jimmy was a believer in Jesus Christ and an active member of Minor Memorial United Methodist Church. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Susan Carol Evans Dunn; daughter, Debbie Carol Dunn; and his siblings: Vickie Dunn Caldwell, Kathy Dunn, Bobby Dunn, Bradley Dunn, Jerry Dunn, and Gary Dale Dunn. He is survived by his daughter, Cindi Holmes (Jason); grandchildren, Caitlyn Holmes (Mack) and Hunter Holmes; sister, Annette Dunn; and brother-in-law, Bill Evans (Vicki) and family. The family will receive friends for a time of visitation at Minor Memorial United Methodist Church on Wednesday, October 29, 2025, from 1-2 pm with a memorial service to begin at 2:00 pm. Burial will follow at New Bethlehem Cemetery.
