Olive Branch- John Dalton Adair, 84, of Olive Branch, passed away December 18, 2011, at Baptist Trinity Hospice House. Funeral services will be 2 p.m., Tuesday, December 20, at Brantley Funeral Home in Olive Branch. Interment will follow in Autumn Woods Cemetery. Mr. Adair was a proud Veteran of the U.S. Navy and Air Force, and he retired from Wilco Truck Rental and Hertz Truck Rental. John attended Longview Height Baptist Church in Olive Branch, and he enjoyed spending his time gardening and tinkering with engines. He was preceded in death by his parents, Dalton F. and Etta Arlena Adair; and his grandson, Heath Adair. John is survived by his wife of 63 years, Lillian “Jill” Adair; his daughter, Barbara Bertram (Blair); 3 sons, John V. Adair, Gerry Adair (Cheryl), and Mark Adair (Barbara); 10 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
