

John B. Campbell, 66, of Memphis, formerly of Marietta, GA, passed away Thursday, September 30, 2010. The family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. Monday, October 4, and funeral services will be held at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday, October 5, all at Brantley Funeral Home in Olive Branch. Interment will follow in the West Tennessee Veterans Cemetery at 11 a.m. John was a U.S. Army Veteran, and he owned and operated Campbell Business Machines in the Memphis area for many years. He was a songwriter, and he enjoyed playing the guitar and dancing. He is survived by his son, Doug Campbell and his wife Kim of Coldwater, MS; his sister, Martha C. Knichel and her husband Bill of Olive Branch, MS; three brothers, Macon D. Campbell and his wife Betty of Eads, TN, Bill Campbell of Clearwater, FL, and Bob Campbell and his wife Betty of Bonita Springs, FL; and two grandchildren, Ryan Douglas Campbell and Alison Marie Campbell. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to any organization benefitting Alzheimer’s Research.
