Johnnie Ray Carlile

Johnnie Ray Carlile, 72, was born May 23, 1945 to Francis Bray Carlile and Alvini Carlile. Johnnie went to be with the Lord Jesus Christ on Sunday, June 25, 2017. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Shirley Barnett. Johnnie was a hardworking and humble man. Johnnie was a good christian family man. He loved his church and church family. He worked for GMC for several years but retired with Metal Teck Fabrication. He loved to restore old cars and he loved motorcycles. He loved going to senior luncheons and dances. Survivors include his wife, Jeans Brown Carlile; two daughters, Kather Romero (Freddy), Sabrina Chambers (Frank); a son, James Carlile. He has three grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Two stepdaughters Bonita Dodds (Randy) and Theresa Gates; and two step sons, Wayne Simpson and James Brown (Leslie); Eight step-grandsons, Randy Jr., Robby, Cody and Matt Dodds, Edmund Brown, Charles Simpson, Kevin and Chris Gates; Two step-granddaughters, Elizabeth Brown and Brittany Manns; Six step-great-grandsons and two step-great-granddaughters. Family will receive guests on Wednesday, June 28th, 2017 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Brantley Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Blocker Cemetery.
