Johnnie Beard Redfield was born to her parents Orville Smith Beard and Mary Grace Rushing Beard on September 14, 1946 in Oxford, MS. She was preceded in death by her twin sister Donnie Beard Kelly.
She was a member of Gracewood Baptist church in Southaven, MS and was a long time member of Ridgeway Assembly of God in Memphis, TN. She enjoyed painting and working with children in previous churches. She graduated from Tech High School in Memphis, TN and retired from AT&T after 45 years of service.
She loved caring for and spoiling her dogs over the years. She is survived by her husband David F. Redfield of 48 years, her daughter Angel Redfield Sheehan and grandsons Aiden Patrick Sheehan and Brady David Sheehan of Germantown, TN. Her brother Gordon Beard of Norman, OK and Kelly Beard-Tittone of Grand View, MO. Also her sister in laws Dixie Redfield Moore of Petal, MS and Deddie Redfield Mizzell of Natchez, MS.
She is also survived by niece Christa Moore Hosey of Hattiesburg, MS and nephews Alan Moore of Collins, MS; Brian Redfield of Nashville, TN and Nathan Redfield of Madison, MS.
A gathering for family and friends will be held Tuesday, December 28, 2021 from 1:00 PM until funeral services begin at 2:00 PM all at Brantley Funeral Home located at 6875 Cockrum Street, Olive Branch, MS 38654. A reception will follow the funeral in the reception room of Brantley Funeral Home.
