JOSEPH RICHARD "Jody" STRAWN, 45, passed away October 5, 2013 after a 10 month battle with cancer. He is survived by two children, Anna Strawn and Joseph Strawn of Fairfield Bay, AR; parents, Richard and Linda Strawn of Olive Branch, MS; two sisters, Christie Garrison (Gary) of Memphis, TN and Penny Strawn of Olive Branch MS; two nephews and one niece. Jody also leaves a loving, devoted partner and wonderful caregiver Kristi Orman Nichols and her daughter Tayler Cates. There will be a gathering of friends on Wednesday, October 9, 2013 from 1:30 until 3 p.m. and service will follow at 3 p.m. all at the Brantley Funeral Home in Olive Branch, MS. No flowers please.
