Joyce Phelps Bell, 80, of Olive Branch, MS went to be with the Lord on Thursday, January 12, 2023. Mrs. Bell was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Bell; parents, Joel and Maudie Phelps; sister, Katie Vancleave; and brother, Joe Phelps. She is survived by her daughters, Diana Bell and Darlene Ewing; grandchildren: Andrea Strevel, Abigail Sacran, and Stephen Ewing; 8 great-grandchildren; and one sister, Jolene Boyington. Mrs. Bell was a believer in Jesus Christ and a faithful, active member of Mineral Wells United Methodist Church. She retired from People’s Bank & Trust after working many years as a book keeper. In her free time, she enjoyed sewing, painting, cross stitching, and tending to her flower beds. She had a servants heart and spent many hours volunteering at food banks. The family will receive friends for a time of visitation at Brantley Funeral Home on Tuesday, January 17, 2023 from 12-1 pm with a funeral service to begin at 1:00 pm. Burial will follow at Blocker Cemetery.
