Joyce Mixon Ferguson, 71, of Independence, MS, passed away on April 7, 2015. There will be a gathering of friends on Saturday, April 11, 2015 beginning at 12 p.m. until the Funeral Service at 2 p.m. at the Independence United Methodist Church, where Joyce was a member for 24 years. Interment will take place at Mt. Zion Cemetery in Independence, MS. Joyce was preceded in death by her parents, James and Elsie Mixon; son, Alan Sing; brother, Jim Mixon and grandson Jacob Null. She is survived by her husband of 33 years Mike Ferguson; daughter, Rene’ Null (Joe); sons, Kevin Sing, Michael Ferguson and Jason Ferguson (Shannon); sisters, Ginger Allen (Billy) and Patti Wright.
