Judy Ann Hughey, 83, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, September 13, 2024 surrounded by her family in Somerville, TN. She was born on August 1, 1941 to the late R.B. and Montie Dunn in Memphis, TN. Judy was a member of Cedarview Baptist Church and cherished her faith deeply. She had a remarkable talent for sewing and crafting, and if you needed something special made, she was always the go-to person. Judy also took great pleasure in tending her garden and nurturing her flowers. Above all, she treasured the moments spent with her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and friends. Her warm presence and loving spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Judy was preceded in death by her parents, R.B. and Montie Dunn; her daughter, Sharon Jones, son-in-law, Steve Jones; brother, Ronnie Dunn, and her brother-in-law, John McDivitt. She leaves behind her two children, Kim Cornish (Darryl), and Gina Anthony (Eddie); three siblings, Jean McDivitt, Elaine Stracilo (Jerry), and Darrell Dunn (Darlene), and her special sister-in-law, Gaye Henson. Judy also leaves behind eight grandchildren: Jared, Jan Marie, Mary Beth, Rhonda, Eddie Jr., Hunter, Stephanie, Jamie, and 15 great-grandchildren. The family request memorial contributions be made to Lebanon Cemetery “Maintenance Fund.” A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, September 18, 2024 at 1:00 pm at Lebanon Cemetery, 8691 Bethel Rd. Olive Branch, Ms 38654.
