James, I am sorry to hear of the loss of Kathryn. May you find comfort in the words found at Psalm 36:9.With you is the source of life. The one who gave life to all living creatures is certainly capable of restoring life to someone who has died. So we can be sure to find comfort here in God's words.

Mr. Buford, Jimmy and Gayle,

Larry and I are so sorry to hear of Mrs. Burford's passing. I always will remember her friendliness and smiling disposition. My parents thought so much of Mrs. Burford and of you, Mr. Burford. The two of you were an important part of our church family at Lamar Heights.  Mother and Daddy felt they had true friends in the two of you. We always thought of the Burfords as positive, happy, and caring people. What a wonderful wife and Mother you have had. May God bless and comfort you all as you.

Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you.  We have missed her being able to come to Cherry Road Baptist Church.  We had another service to go to so we did not get to come to hers but our prayers will remain with all of you.

Jimmy and Gail:
We were out of town and didn't return until late Saturday when I got the phone message from my Mom that your mother had died and the funeral was just going on.  I am sorry for your loss and sorry that I was unable to be at the visitation or funeral.
Both of my parents thought so much of your mother.  I will always remember her saving me "Madame Alexander" dolls at Goldsmiths when they were so hard to find.  And I will always remember her easy and quick laugh.

Kathryn is one of my most favorite people on all the earth, as well as her husband James.  They have meant so much to me throughout my entire life.  They were so much fun no matter where we met, or if on a trip together with a group from the church, or just at church for regular weekly meetings. I could write much about how wonderful I think they are, but I will just say in her passing: heaven is sweeter now, and I loved her dearly here on earth!   I'm praying for you James, Gayle, Jimmy, and all the family.  You were her heart!
