

Keith Raymond Tabor, 80, of Byhalia, MS passed away on September 30, 2025. Keith was born on July 2, 1945, in Detroit, MI to the late Theodore John Tabor and June Bischoff Tabor. He grew up in the Batavia community and attended school there. After high school, he served our country in the United States Navy and did two tours in Vietnam. He was part of the Seabees, which is the construction battalion. They are responsible for building and maintaining the infrastructure. The knowledge and courage he acquired during his military service continued throughout his entire life. He was a master carpenter, and his professional work was remodeling homes, building homes, wood working, and cabinet making. He believed he could do anything that he put his mind to. In his free time, he enjoyed fishing and smoking different meats for his family and friends. Keith was a good man with a servant’s heart. His family and friends knew they could call him anytime they needed him. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his stepson, Spencer Allan Walker. He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Barbara Hillman Walker Tabor; children: Terri, Todd, and Emily; grandchildren: Shawn, Heidi, Jaimee, Ally, Levi, Cassie, and Josh; 10 great-grandchildren; and a brother, Duane Tabor.
