Kenneth N. Moore

Kenneth N. Moore, 65, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, November 1, 2025, surrounded by his family. He was born on November 30, 1959, to Howard and Wincie Moore in Atlanta, Georgia. Ken was a handyman most of his life and was known as a jack of all trades. He worked in carpentry, woodworking, and construction, and always enjoyed tinkering with things. Ken loved spending time in his garden and took pride in the work he did there. He liked the summertime, even though he often wore a jacket and a toboggan. In his free time, he enjoyed watching WWE and NASCAR. Ken was preceded in death by his dad, Howard L. “Buddy” Moore, and his brother, Michael Alan Moore. He is survived by his mother, Wincie Brooks Moore; two children, Michael E. Moore (Kari), Laura Moore Flynn (Jacobi); two sisters, Kathy Moore Phillips (Greg), and Karen Moore. Ken also leaves behind a niece, Katelynn Phillips, five grandchildren: Abigail, Weslynn, Auston, Annaleigh, Alan, and the family fur-baby, Mr. Bates. Family will receive friends on Wednesday, November 5, 2025, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Brantley Funeral Home, 6875 Cockrum St. Olive Branch, MS 38654. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 8, 2025, at 2:00 PM with visitation beginning at 1:00 PM at Haisten Funerals and Cremations, 1745 S Zack Hinton Pkwy, McDonough, GA 30253. Burial will follow at Sharon Cemetery in Ola, GA.
