Linda Carol Callahan, 69, of Collierville, TN passed away Thursday, March 11, 2021. Mrs. Callahan was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Mack Wallace Callahan; father, Gerald E. Allison; mother, Evie L. Mills Moore; and brother, Larry Allison. She is survived by three children: her daughter, Evie Gregory (Andrew); son, Jeff Callahan (Brande); son, Adam Gregory (Alicia Jill); grandchildren: Ashley (Chad), Alicia (Josh), Olivia, and Michael; great-grandchildren: Hunter, Dillon, Allison, Austin, Taylor, Eden and Evelynn who she was excited to know will arrive this summer; sisters: Ruby Gardner and Betsy Allison; and brothers: Danny Allison, David Allison, Dennis Glenn Allison, and Nathan Allison. Mrs. Callahan retired from Lowes in Collierville to take care of her husband and spend time with him. They enjoyed sitting on the porch and drinking their coffee together. In her free time she enjoyed gardening, working on their home in Olive Branch, taking walks around the lake, grandchildren’s baseball games and taking them to the zoo, and cooking for her family. She had a servant’s heart and loved to take care of anyone in need and wanted everyone to be happy. Mrs. Callahan had a deep faith in Jesus and her family. Her family meant everything to her, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and she loved to spend time with them. She was a feisty little lady who always spoke her mind and that made her even more fun to spend time with. Mrs. Callahan had a big heart and was a sweet and loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. The family will receive friends for a time of visitation at Brantley Funeral Home on Wednesday, March 17, 2021 from 5-7 pm. Her funeral service will be at 2:00 pm on Thursday, March 18, 2021 also at Brantley Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Lebanon Cemetery. There will be no family gathering following the services.
