Linda Ray Letson, 81, of Southaven, MS went to be with the Lord on Thursday, October 14, 2021. Mrs. Letson was preceded in death by her parents, Amzia and Olera Ray; siblings: Dulcie Ray, Vivian Lovera, Mary Nell Smith, Dick Ray, Barbara Holder, and Wayne Ray; and son-in-law, Steve Bowers. She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Neal Letson; daughters: Paulette Jarjoura(T.J.), Lanell Bowers, Lucinda Letson, and Heather Robinson(Brooks); grandchildren: Wesley Wood, Amber Hogan, Brooks Robinson, II, Cameron Robinson, Robert Hodges, Madelyn Jarjoura, and Kathryn Jarjoura; and siblings: Lucy Chamberlain, Mack Ray, and Jimmy Ray. Mrs. Letson is a 1959 graduate of Central High School in Memphis. She and her husband were the owners of Best Electric, but she was also a full-time and devoted mother and full time caretaker of her loving husband. She was full of life and loved people. She never met a stranger and had a very kind spirit. She had a great sense of humor and could make anyone laugh. Mrs. Letson was a believer in Jesus Christ and attended Southaven Church of Christ where she and her husband have been members since 1982. The family will receive friends for a time of visitation at Brantley Funeral Home on Friday, October 22, 2021 from 1-2 pm with a funeral service to follow at 2:00 pm. Interment will be at Twin Oaks Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to Southaven Church of Christ building fund (P.O. Box 128, Southaven, MS 38671).
