Lisa Ann Sprinkle Adams, 52, daughter of the late Olen Ray Sprinkle and Marlene Joyce Sprinkle was born on October 13, 1968, in Homestead, Florida. She attended Southaven High School where she was the captain of the “Strutters” dance team, which she loved. She was a member of Southaven First United Methodist Church throughout her childhood and young adult years.
In 1988, she accepted a position on the youth ministry staff in Lake Junaluska, North Carolina where she met Ben Adams who was on the services staff. They quickly became close friends as Ben often volunteered so kindly to help during her events. They were engaged on February 15, 1994, and were married the same year on October 1st surrounded by family and friends. This union of 26 years, 2 months, and 6 days was blessed with four daughters: Emily, Anna Claire, Caroline, and Sarah.
She was an active member of Cornerstone Church for fourteen years and enjoyed working alongside Ben and her daughters in children’s ministry. She loved gardening, Karen Kingsbury books, Easter and breakfast food, but most importantly, her utmost priority, her family. She was passionate about homeschooling and creating a welcoming environment for all who entered her home. She had an uncanny knack for encouraging those around her. Whether it be a handwritten note, a phone call, or a thoughtful text message she made herself very present in the lives of those who were hurting.
Her beautiful life will forever be cherished in the lives of her husband and daughters. She is preceded in death by her father Olen Ray Sprinkle. She is survived by her husband, Ben Adams, her four adoring daughters: Emily (Tylan Whitfield), Anna Claire, Caroline, and Sarah Adams. She is also survived by her mother, Marlene Sprinkle, and her brothers Gary Sprinkle (Jean) and David (Debbey) Sprinkle.
