Lonnie Carrol Umberger Sr.

Lonnie Carrol Umberger, Sr., 79, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, January 2, 2026, surrounded by his family. He was born on December 12, 1946, to Otis Clifton and Emma A Umberger. Carrol proudly served his country in the United States Army. In his free time, he loved watching Ole Miss football, riding his Harley-Davidson, and traveling to the mountains with his wife. He was also a successful business owner of Computer Installation Services. He was preceded in death by his parents, Otis and Emma Umberger; two brothers, Jimmy Umberger and Sammy Umberger and his sister, Dorothy Rikard. Carrol leaves behind his wife, Phyllis Umberger; three children, Lonnie Umberger (Tonya), Kelly Hutchens (Mike), Jay Maness; five grandchildren: Tyler Umberger, Dallas Shanks, Jamie Shanks, Anna Shanks, Bella Maness, and one great grandchild, Adrian Umberger. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
