Lula Mae “Belle” Dozier Mitchell, 84, of Byhalia passed away on Sept. 7, 2015. She was a founding member of Watson Community Chapel, in Byhalia, Mississippi. She was preceded in death by her husband, Elmo F. Mitchell and her son David Mitchell. She leaves behind her daughter Judy Jones and husband Billy, son, Jimmy W. Mitchell and wife Jeanne, grandchildren; Ginger Brown and husband Ronnie, Kimberly Burk, Dawn Nichelson and husband Phillip, Douglas Mitchell and wife Shay, eight great-grandchildren, four great-great grandchildren, brother-in-laws Sonny Mitchell and wife Mavis, James Mitchell, sister-in-law Rebecca Gurley, and a host of nieces and nephews. There will be a gathering of family and friends on Sat. Sept. 12, 2015, beginning at 12:00pm with the service to follow at 2:00pm all at Watson Community Church, 2550 Hwy. 309 South, Byhalia, MS. The family would like to invite friends and family to their home for fellowship following the services. Interment will follow service at Byhalia Cemetery.
