Maria Jesus Garcia-Martinez

Maria Jesus Garcia-Martinez, age 50, of Horn Lake, Mississippi passed away on Thursday, November 6, 2025. Maria was born in Morelia, MIC, Mexico. Married 1999 sadly widowed with child shortly after. She immigrated to California in the U.S in September 2002 and had two more children. In 2015 she moved to Mississippi where her grandchild was born in 2016. She worked hard to provide for her children, until she was diagnosed with cancer in the summer of 2025. After a short and hard battle with the cancer she now rests, knowing her three children she's left behind will look after each other. May she be loved and remembered by all those she cared for. A funeral service for Maria will be held Saturday, November 15, 2025 from 6:00 PM to 6:50 PM at Brantley Funeral Home, 6875 Cockrum Street, Olive Branch, MS 38654, followed by a visitation from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM.

Casada en 1999 y, lamentablemente, enviudada poco después con una hija. Emigró a California en Los Estados Unidos, en Septiembre de 2002 y tuvo dos hijas más. En 2015 se mudó a Misisipi, donde nació su nieta en 2016. Trabajó arduamente para mantener a sus hijos hasta que la diagnosticaron con cáncer en el verano de 2025.

Tras una breve pero intensa lucha contra el cáncer, ahora descansa en paz, sabiendo que sus tres hijas se cuidarán mutuamente.
