Mark Kent Davis

Born on January 24, 1957, in Charleston, Mississippi, Mark was the son of Billy "Bubba" and Sylvia Davis. A proud graduate of Charleston High School, he played football and cherished his roots in the community.

Mark spent 15 years working as a tool and dye operator at Parker Hannifin in Batesville before relocating to Southaven, where he later worked in maintenance at Nike. He was a hardworking and dedicated man who took pride in everything he did.

An avid outdoorsman, Mark found joy in fishing, hunting, and exploring nature. He also had a passion for collecting arrowheads, carefully preserving and framing several cherished collections. Mark also enjoyed watching Ole Miss Football.

His love for the outdoors and his appreciation for the simple things in life will be remembered fondly by all who knew him.

Mark was preceded in death by his father, Billy “Bubba” Davis, and his grandmother, Guy Davis.

He leaves behind his son, Timothy “Shaun” Davis (Cassie); his mother, Sylvia Church; four siblings: Penni Church, Eddie Church, Mala White, John Burchfield, and the mother of his child, Dianne Watson. Mark also leaves behind three grandchildren: Hayden, Isabelle, and Savannah.
