Marvin “Jeff” Jefferson Ward, 56, passed away peacefully on Monday, March 30, 2026, surrounded by his loving family. Born on February 4, 1970, in Memphis, Tennessee, he was the son of Marvin Ward and Pam Couch. Known to most simply as Jeff, he had a passion for competition crappie fishing, racing cars and motorcycles, golfing, and flying remote-controlled airplanes. Above all, Jeff cherished the time he spent with his family and children, treasuring every moment together. He was preceded in death by his father, Marvin Ward; his step-father, Don Couch. Jeff is survived by his wife, Mitzie Ward; his mother, Pam Couch; four children: Addysen Ward, Micheal Ward, Sela Ward, Alexis Davis (Johnathan); his grandson, Aaron Davis; his aunt, Judy Black and his two cousins, David Maness and John Boy Perry.
