Mary Faye Hammett

Mary Faye Hammett, 83, of Olive Branch, MS went to be with the Lord Sunday, May 2, 2021. Mrs. Hammett was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Thaddeus Everett Hammett; and her parents, Albert and Mary Nell Jernigan. She is survived by her son, Mark Hammett; daughter, Leanne Bennett; grandchildren: Joshua Bennett, Alyssa Bennett, and Samuel Bennett; and sister, Sandra Fox. Mrs. Hammett worked as the church secretary for over 30 years for Brainard Hills Baptist Church in Chattanooga, TN. In 2007 she moved to Olive Branch, MS where she was a member at Longview Heights Baptist Church. She served at LHBC as a Bible Study leader and Sunday School Teacher. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to Longview Heights Baptist Church building fund.
