Melvin Ephraim Rogers, 68, of Byhalia, MS went to be with the Lord on February 15, 2026. Melvin was born on August 22, 1957, in Paragould, AR to the late Bill Rogers and Shirley Smith Molock. He worked as a truck driver for 40 years and 22 of those years were with Southeastern Freight. He was a believer in Jesus Christ and served as a deacon at Sherwood Baptist Church for many years. In his older years, he began riding Harley Davidsons and enjoyed riding with his brother and his wife. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Wanda Rogers; and his second wife, Cheryl Rogers. He is survived by his daughter, Angela Moody (Brad); son, Jeremy Rogers; stepson, Tyler Stoker; brother, Jackie Rogers (Pamela); sister, Diane Neil; 4 grandchildren; and 1 great-grandchild. Melvin will be buried at New Bethlehem Cemetery in Horn Lake.
